How long does an EICR take?

Most domestic EICRs take 2–4 hours depending on circuit count and access. Larger or commercial properties take longer. We'll confirm before booking.

Will the power need to go off?

Yes, parts of the test require power off circuit by circuit. We plan the visit to minimise disruption and let you know in advance.

What's an unsatisfactory EICR?

It means one or more issues were found that need attention. We list each item with a code so you can see exactly what needs fixing and what's a recommendation.

Can you carry out remedial work?

Yes. We can quote separately for any remedial work flagged in the report so you can decide what to address.

Do you provide the certificate?

Yes. You'll get a full written EICR report once testing is complete.
